Of all the menu items at On The Border, there is none more exciting or iconic than our fajitas. It starts when you hear the sound of the sizzle and then get your first glimpse of the smoke. Then they arrive and you gleefully begin building your own edible masterpieces. Our fajitas have been dazzling customers from the moment On The Border opened its doors in 1982. With every order beginning on our mesquite wood fire grill. Where we sear up our chicken, steak, shrimp, or veggies to perfection before we bring them to you, still sizzling. Thanks to the work of On The Border, National Fajita Day was selected in 2016 to be recognized by an adoring nation. This is a huge honor because of the 18,000 “National Day” petitions that are submitted every year, only 30 are approved.
